      Come and say hello to the rest of the group and please say why you are attending the class.  Also, if you have a spare 10 minutes please watch the below video in preparation for the first session.

  • Session 1 - Getting to know your guitar

    This week we will taking a look at the terminology associated with your guitar and also how to tune your guitar.

  • Session 2 - Basic chords for rhythm playing

    We will go through some of the most useful chords as well as tips for switching between chords.

  • Session 3 - Developing chord progressions

    In this weeks session we will be taking a look at some of the more familiar progressions and playing along with a couple of well known tracks.  

  • Session 4 - Finger picking or strumming?

    We will look this we at the difference between finger picking and strumming.  

  • Session 5 - Getting the most out of practice time

    In this last sesision will take a look at how to maximise your practice time in developing your skills.
