This is the Pebble+ resources base.

1. Overview

What is Pebblepad

PebblePad is a Personal Learning and Assessment System. It is designed to support personal, academic, and professional learning and development. As a system it contains two main components:

  • Pebble+ is the Personal Learning Space which allows you to create, share and publish content. Pebble+ can be used by learners, teachers and assessors for personal development planning, teaching, assessment, and continuing personal development. The software can be used to record achievements, learning records, personal goals and aspirations. Content created (known as assets) can be updated regularly, reviewed, shared with others, and published online.

  • ATLAS (Active Teaching, Learning and Assessment Space) is the institutional assessment space designed to support teaching and learning activities. It is the space to which learners, submit work (assets) from Pebble+ to a workspace within ATLAS so that teachers and assessors can view them and add feedback, grades, approvals, etc. Work submitted to ATLAS is viewed via a live link to the work in the user’s Pebble+ account, enabling on-going feedback and dialogue between the tutor and student during the learning process.
