Dr Allison Worth is Patient and Public Involvement Advisor for the Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility at the University of Edinburgh. Her role is to support research staff and members of the public to make patient and public involvement effective and enjoyable for all. Allison has a background in nursing and is an experienced healthcare researcher and educator. Her research focus has been qualitative research trying to understand and improve the experiences of patients with long term and life-limiting conditions.
