Parkinson’s UK are today launching a new ‘Patient and Public Involvement: Resource for Researchers’. While it has been developed for Parkinson’s researchers, the content has been designed so that it is applicable to other types of research.
It is available to download from the Parkinson’s UK website: http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/researchinvolvement and has been added to the Resource List under Unit II.
It's full of good, practical advice, so do have a look!
Also, just as a quick reminder to send in topics you'd like Allison to cover in this Thursday adobe tutorial "Your views of patient and public involvement", (Thursday, January 28th, 6-7pm). This can be: anything you'd like to reflect on from your learning on patient and public involvement so far; anything that's not clear or you'd like more information about; anything from the Unit II lessons that you'd like her to talk about in person; anything from the Thought Discussions you think is worth discussing further.
Just post your questions/discussion points under Next week's lecture/tutorial in the common room by Thursday morning and Allison will go with the flow......
