This is a course specific query and would be best answered by posting in the Help & Support forum on the course or by contacting the course tutor. This forum is intended for more general queries about Moodle though serious issues should be reported via IS.Helpline@ed.ac.uk.
However, adding a comment and location seems to be fairly easy:
- Enter the activity.
- Click on the plus icon in the top right corner of the map.
- A form opens. Enter the title and description for your entry.
- To enter a location either start typing the name in the Location text box and select the location when it appears in the list or click on Map Select a location to find and select a location using the map.
- Click Submit when all is ready.
