Hi Donna,

Just to confirm, the word count for IP III should be no longer than 1000 words in length (Font 10-12. typed, single spacing fine) plus the bibliography (citations in Vancouver or Harvard style).

Further details can be found in the assignment spec.

Thanks

Susie

Hi,

Should IPIII look to design a complete strategy for engaging with the public as a whole, or narrow it down to to just one strategy such as involving schools?

Thanks

Hi Donna and everyone

Either is fine - you need to justify the approach you take, but the main thing is to make it relevant to you/your work, so if a schools project or anything equally specific is the way you want to go, that's OK. However, if a generic public engagement strategy is better for some of you, that's also fine

Best wishes

Dear Susie and Allison,

one of the points to address in IP3 is the resources we will need for our PE strategy.

Could you please let us know what does "resources" involve? I thought of stating people who will participate, their roles, materials, etc... But should we also make a cost estimation? if this is the case, it would be very difficult in my case.... I am assuming the pharma company where I work will be generous and happy about my project wink

Thanks for clarifying!

KR

Hi Valeria and everyone

You're on the right lines here. Again with this assignment, it is about your own work situation so there will be variations, but any public engagement work involves time and money - not everyone will have the time or a generous employer to fund it, but if you do, that's great! For those of you who don't, it's obviously a challenge. We are not looking for a detailed costing for this assignment, but a realistic appraisal of how achievable your strategy is would be welcome. So yes, who would plan/deliver the strategy, time and materials needed and some comment on how it would be funded are all good inclusions.

Hope that helps

Best wishes

Allison
