Location Data Mining Activity

There are numerous examples of location data mining like the references posted here, and with increasing sophistication of data collection techniques and analytical capabilities, the depth and breadth of profiling will only increase.      

In the earthquake example, a number of comments on the report said the same thing - the people using the devices didn't know their information was being used like this. Is this a potential early alert for disaster response teams or a rather creepy invasion of privacy?

The second Jawbone example - going to bed early on New Year's Eve - is this type of profiling and data mining useful?

In the Runkeeper video example, do you think such community observation has value or again, do you think this a cause for concern?

As for the future prediction example, do you think someone would be able to predict your behaviour based on information you post online?
