As we begin to understand the functions of culture, this week we will be taking a step back to analyze how the university has its unique and cherished culture.  From its core cultural values, and its promotion of institutional world views, each university strives to maintain the university's tradition, and values, which are not only important, they are vital to the wellbeing of the institution.

During your Skype chats, your group will explore the notion of what is your university's culture.  What features do the university exemplify to undergraduate students and what influence do students play in evolving its values, beliefs and world views?

In an attempt to answer these questions your group will create a word cloud.  Upon terminating your Skype chat session, you will be asked to copy and paste your Skype chat script and Wordie will generate the words most frequently used.

Upon completing your Word Cloud, share your results with the other groups by post a copy of your image on the class's pegboard here.
