Journal Reflections
In your personal blog space you should start to make regular notes and reflections. You should include the following topics in your blog:
my notes/thinking/musings from reading about self-study;
reflections on my actions/behaviours/experiences in terms of me as a leader in my own context.
Specific blog topics will be identified at various stages throughout the course.
Journal Reflection activity for Week beginning 19th September 2011:
Start your reflective journal with a entry 'What is self-study'. You should make some notes on your initial thoughts and understandings about self-study having read the articles from Loughran and Pithouse.
This does not need to be a critical summary of each article but should be your initial thoughts/questions/musings arising from this reading. Make connections between some of the ideas presented about self-study to you and your context, ideas of leadership and your professional development.
Please note that your personal blog entries are only visible to you and your tutor and not to the other members of the cohort. Only entries in the shared wiki space are visible to all.
