The aim of this Learning Event is to raise awareness of the collective and individual personal impacts on planet earth and it's natural resources and to foster an interest in reducing that impact and/or encouraging others to do the same.

 

Learning Outcomes 

By the end of the LE students should have:

1:  gained a deeper/broader awareness and understanding of ecology and our disruption of it on a global scale

2:  considered the personal and unique ecological impact of their lifestyle

3:  reflected on their individual actions and behaviours as a motivation for change

4:  explored ways in which their ecological impact can be reduced and shared this understanding with others

 

 

Enduring Understandings

People face choices about how much space and resources are required for humans to live the way they choose to live

There are crucial decisions about how much space and earth resources required if we are to survive and flourish

 

Required media: MSc participants will be able to use platforms and media they have previously accessed in the program. Viewing on YouTube is required.
