The course therefore is designed for the lecturers of Bugema University who teach online

Upon completion of this course, lecturers/learners will be able to: 

  1. Evaluate approaches and solutions of summative and formative assessment for online classrooms in assessment. 

  1. Explain the value of carrying out constructive feedback and assessment for both learners and instructors during online classes.

This course is for Kenyan medical students in their final year, the 6th-year. The goal of this course is to prepare final-year Kenyan medical students as they transition to their roles as junior doctors. Through Critical Pedagogy, the course was designed to address salient issues in the medical health system that influence how care is delivered by doctors and how such care be improved by adopting: more power-equitable doctor-patient dynamisms, humane approaches in medical spaces, and the better use of health technology.
