How can future students be reassured they aren't 'bothering' supervisors when asking questions?

Having regular, pre-arranged/scheduled sessions (e.g. collaborate/skype/facetime) so that the student knows this is time the supervisor has dedicated to them. If these are at regular intervals, the student knows they can save most things to discuss at these sessions, rather than lots of frequent individual questions. As long as the student knows the supervisor is happy to be contacted outwith these for questions/concerns that can't wait, then this balance would help the student to feel like this is time set aside for them, where they aren't imposing on the supervisor etc.
