Dear Students
We are upgrading Moodle to version 4.3.3 this summer. We would appreciate your assistance with the User Acceptance Testing (UAT). UAT gives a great opportunity to get a sneak preview of the new version of Moodle and its new features, as well as to discover any technical or usability issues that need to be addressed.
- We would expect the testing to take around 1 hour. You can do it any time from 1st May to 15th May. We will require completed feedback returned by 17:00 pm, Wednesday 15th May, in order for your feedback to be fully considered.
- You can complete the UAT scripts from your computer/laptop/mobile device at your convenience.
- The testing environment is https://www-test.moodle.is.ed.ac.uk/ using your EASE Test or manual account. You will need to use a VPN connection if logging in from home.
- Please email is.helpline@ed.ac.uk with the subject "Moodle UAT Test" to sign up. Please also indicate if you require an EASE Test account for the test Moodle environment.
- We will share the UAT testing scripts once we hear from you, on 1st May.
