Collaborate Session

I would like to schedule a Collaborate Discussion. I have suggested Monday 5th at 17:00 UK time.

I have included a link below for those who have not used Collaborate before.

http://www.brainshark.com/blackboardinc/vu?pi=zGLzYw5XBz35Sgz0

Can you please let me know:

1 - does the date and time suit?

2 - can you access Collaborate?

Dear Christine,

The time is fine, but how do you access Collaborate?

Time unfortunately doesn't suit. I am on the pitch at that point.

Mornings up until 1130am are best for me while i'm at my desk. Or potentially Tuesday evening this week.

If I am not working this is fine for me but I am sometimes called in at short notice.

Most Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Daytimes are fuzzy depending on what work I have on. Cannot do Tuesday this week it is the bosses birthday and she is expecting a meal out!

I'll struggle to do evenings. I coach Monday-Thursday from 5pm onwards. Fridays and Sundays are clear.

Dear Christine, I will give you a call as it seems to me that I will be the only one in the group that is free. Monday's are best for me as I do not work as all the other days I work.

The link you provided above if I understand correctly is a how to do session, however I do not know how to access Collaborate.

Is the dancer doing something wrong?

Great

Link below:

http://www.ed.ac.uk/information-services/learning-technology/communication/collaborate/collaborate-students

You can click on the collaborate icon on the page and it will take you to the session but you need the software - it is a free download.

Tell you what - I'll be here tonight at 17:00 and also tomorrow at 10:00

Will that help?

Hi Christine.

Obviously slightly late now, but fyi afternoons and evenings are pretty hectic - my work day tends to be 14:00-22:00.

The link works so I'll assume I can use Collaborate no problem.

Have you downloaded the programme?

I would assume so but better to check

I am not able to download the programme on my work computer. This is going to limit my use of the software during work hours. My skype address is chris.duncan31 if that helps

Hi Chris

Is that a permissions issue? It may be a good idea to check with your system admin people if that is the case
