I am going to set up a doodle poll for another meeting but that will not be until the week beginning Monday 26th after you have submitted the first assessment.
This week I will be available on Friday morning 9:30-10:00 if anyone has any last minute questions. If you want to ask questions before that please just let me know how I can help.
For the discussion next week I would like you to have completed the following:
1. Arrange a virtual meeting at a mutually suitable time. I would suggest that we split into 2 small groups to make this easier:
Group 1: Grahame, Mark & Scott
Group 2: Chris & Dan
2. Consider how the Coaching Process, Coaching Models and Principles of Good Coaching Practice relate to one another (if indeed they do)
3. From your readings, evaluate the statement:
Novice sports coaches should not be expected to implement the coaching process.
I would expect you to consider the following in your answer:
the knowledge base of coaching & coaches
the extents to which different coaches are able to implement the coaching process
the understanding of the coaching process
