Holism in Sports Coaching: Beyond Humanistic Psychology

I am reading the article by Tina Cassidy (2010) and the commentaries on it. My initial reading saw me drawing parallels with the ideas of "Student Centred Learning". Having had the privilidge of working with Paul Ginis and seeing his and Donna Brandes ideas fall in and out of favour with various Education Secretaries it was good to see Nelson et al (2010) talk about "Athlete Centred Coaching".

If you are interested in athlete centred coaching then I cannot recommend Lynne Kidman's book highly enough.
