Hi Christine, are we just leaving the planned presentations from last week?

Christine Nash Post 3 in reply to 2

No - we will arrange a time to hold these presentations - probably next week - to allow for questions and feedback.

I will be available everyday next week so it may be a good thing to try and arrange a time that is mutually suitable.

Today I'm in Munich visiting the university (TUM) which is based in the Olympic Park so that should be very interesting. One of the speakers from the conference works here so I will be discussing his work in Talent Development and seeing if there are any projects to become involved in.

Next week chat

Hi Christine,

I am free next Monday in the morning so, If you are also, it would be great having a chat about the presentation, getting a feedback and introducing any change if needed.

Thanks!

Christine,

Chris Duncan and I have agreed to work together. We are thinking of looking at "Do coach education programmes produce expert coaches?"

Do not get too excited. I have sent Chris some powerpoint slides that I have put together and he is working on additional material. My hope is we can all link up and talk about the ideas as a group rather than just a few of us. I will also have to keep my mouth shut and listen to others. Your input will be particularly valuable.

Thanks Chris,

I did not think you had done a runner! I have to go down to South Wales again on Monday. There is a placement meeting for my Uncle on Tuesday. I will drive back Wednesday and am working Thursday. I am free on Friday to link up but after working six days straight and then driving 500 miles I might be a little jaded!

I can manage Friday. Even if it's just for a quick 10 minute discussion at some point. Slides on my laptop at home and not at work so will fire over to you later. Though don't feel you need to look at them as you've got plenty other stuff on your plate.

Looking for a partner for the group assessment.
My interest are nature-nurture discussion, development of expertise and psychological characteristics of developing excellence.

Would be great to share our experiences and knowledges around one of these themes for the presentation.

I plan to be during the conference in march in Edinburgh, so if possible we can sit toghether and to progress in the presentation.

I would like to male the presentation end of week 2 or in week 3.

thanks

Britta

Hi everybody,

do all groups have already an idea in which week they want to to their seminar group presentation.

would be great if we can fix those days quite soon.

I have other assignments  in the week of March 21st too, and I like to avoid an overlapping, what not means I am not available in week 3  of the seminar assessment, i have only to plan to free time.

thanks

OK so we have our 3 groups for this and the group topics.

What we don't have are any specific times and dates - can we get this completed by next week please. We need to allow the presenters time to prepare but we also need to ensure that everyone can attend.

Thank you

Hi everybody

times flies:

it would be great if we could fix this week the dates for the group presentations, it will be in the interest of us all, to find dates, we can do it all, as  not only the presentation, but also the participation on the discussion will be marked. As more participants per discussion, more better for us.

Scott, Grahame and I had a small discussion about possible dates and times for the week march 21 -25.

it looks that tuesday March 22, wednesday March 23 and Friday March 25 could be possibilities.

Please can we fix it for end of the week, as  I have other exams and presentations during the week March 21-25, and I have to fix these too.

Thanks, waiting your responses

Useful video on this one

All Collaborate information can be easily sourced and I have put up a test on the main page so that people can try it out.
