Moodle Support here.
Yesterday we released a "working" Mobile and Tablet theme for Moodle which is now the default when you log in from such a device.
The log in page has a known issue with regards the "Login with EASE" button which we will fix in the upcoming Moodle projects, but we decided to still release the Moodle mobile/tablet theme even though the "Login button" is not ideal. (see attached).
Once you know *where* the log in button is on the page (it is very thin and small) and you are logged in the interface in Moodle was deemed much more user friendly than the web version. We hope you will agree. (see attached).
You can always switch back to the "standard theme" from your mobile device. Link at the bottom of the page to the "switch". (see attached).
