A setting was changed in the Moodle Forum activity that seems to have caused old forum posts to become marked as unread. This behaviour has been seen by some, but not all, users.
Consequently I have reversed the change pending further investigation into the cause. I hope that this reversal will change the unread posts back to the way they were before but if not it will only be two weeks worth of posts that are marked as unread.
If you still find that you have read posts marked as unread, and you were up to date with reading forum posts, you can mark them as unread in bulk - either by clicking on the tick next to Unread to clear the whole forum or by clicking on the tick next to the number of unread posts to clear that thread only:
