You may wish to tick those that have applied to you when you have had a position of responsibility, within or beyond school and whether formally or informally defined. For instance, do parents sometimes take decisions for their children or do all the work for their children when they should be 'letting go' and encouraging self-responsibility.
Think of the changes in attitude for each item that are needed for these middle leaders in order to encourage and support their colleagues through sharing tasks or enabling and delegating opportunities.
